Mickey Molnaire, M.A., M.A.
Mickey Molnaire brings an inquiring mind, a sense of humor and over 25 years of experience in adult education to her clients. Her own international work background ranges from educational institutions, social services and non-profit organizations to private enterprise, and gives her insights and ability working in both public and private sectors.
For 12 years she taught English as a Foreign/Second language in Germany, Iran and Seattle, and developed adult vocational courses for refugees in Seattle. She was founding co-director of the Seattle Asian Women’s Refugee Alliance (now Refugee Women’s Alliance).
Upon moving to Bainbridge Island in 1985, she started working with personal computers, and by 1987 began providing software consulting, training and support to local businesses, non-profits and individuals.
Mickey and her late husband Ron Konzak created Fuurin-Oka (Wind-Bell Hill) Futon & Breakfast, a Japanese inn on Bainbridge Island which attracted guests from all over the world. She helped form the Bainbridge Island Lodging Association and served as president for 6 years.
Her experience with tourism marketing led to her current position as Director of Marketing & Tourism at the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, where she also provides in-house IT support.
One of the original instructors of the Bainbridge Island Community School, she provided training in business software and web design to dozens of islanders over a period of sixteen years and still runs into them at T&C. She served on the board of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, is a member of the Bainbridge Economic Council, and was a board member of Bainbridge Island Broadcasting/BITV. She is a member of the Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce, Bainbridge Business Connection and Bainbridge Business Women.
